We have a calming area set up to help regulate our emotions with enough privacy to avoid disturbing the class, but not too much that the teacher can't keep a watchful eye. \r\n\r\nWith your generous donations, we can have several calming activities to distract the children and help them gain control of their emotions. The bean bag fillings helped to fill our old bean bag.\r\n\r\nWe were also able to make buttons for our students and their families for Grandparents Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. We took pictures at the beginning of the year and then allowed the children to decorate the outside of the picture.
