The team has used the items we received weekly in practice. Some of the items we use multiple times a week. All of the items work great and they have made practice better.\r\n\r\nOne of the items we received was reflective vests for running. Most of our runners are multi-sport athletes, it forces our team to run in the morning. Running early in the morning especially at the end of October and beginning of November is a safety hazard. When practice starts there is barely enough light to see your hand. I do not feel comfortable letting the kids run through town when it is so dark. The reflective vests give me piece of mind and by letting cars know the runners are there. \r\n\r\nThe team also received agility ladders and hurdles. The hurdles help with getting the students to lengthen their stride. A proper stride will decrease energy used every step and increase speed. Agility ladder drills help strengthen the ankles. Both are good things for cross country running.
