The materials and incentives helped transform what can often feel like a stressful and overwhelming time into an experience that was engaging, encouraging, and even fun.\r\n\r\nStudents used hands-on review activities and interactive materials to practice important skills while working collaboratively and learning from their mistakes. Having a variety of ways to review allowed students with different academic needs to participate and experience success. The incentives also gave students something to work toward while recognizing their effort, improvement, perseverance, and willingness to keep trying when a skill was challenging.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful impacts was seeing students become more confident in themselves as learners. Rather than focusing only on their test scores, we celebrated the progress they made along the way. Students were able to see that their hard work mattered and that they were capable of tackling challenging material.\r\n\r\nThese resources were especially valuable in my historically underfunded classroom, where access to engaging review materials and student incentives is often limited by what I can personally provide. Because of this project, my students had opportunities to prepare for their EOGs in a way that supported both their academic growth and their confidence.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project helped my students walk into their assessments feeling more prepared, supported, and proud of how hard they had worked.
