Each student now has a dedicated space to store classwork, reference materials, drafts, and ongoing projects. A specific moment that stands out was during a recent lesson when students were asked to locate prior notes and return feedback for a writing task. For the first time, nearly every student was able to quickly find their materials and begin working independently, allowing the class to focus on learning rather than searching for papers.\r\n\r\nBecause of these materials, I am now able to teach organizational skills alongside academic content. Your support has had a meaningful and lasting impact on my students and our classroom learning.\r\n\r\nThe dictionaries you provided are now an integral part of our everyday lessons. Students use them daily to find, understand, and apply new words across reading, writing, and discussion activities. For many of my students, this was their first experience learning how to use a physical dictionary. They learned how to alphabetize, locate words, and choose the correct definition based on context. What may seem like a simple tool has become a powerful learning experience.\r\n\r\nAs students grow more confident navigating the dictionaries, I see them becoming more independent learners. They no longer wait for answers; instead, they actively seek meaning, build vocabulary, and engage more deeply with language. This project has helped foster curiosity, responsibility, and confidence.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their success. Your generosity has truly expanded their access to learning and empowered them with tools they will use every day.","fullyFundedDate":1758898891111,"projectUrl":"project/words-for-success/9670393/","projectTitle":"Words for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Torres","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10235487"},{"teacherId":1867604,"projectId":9588802,"letterContent":"When the new materials arrived, my students were absolutely thrilled they couldn't wait to dive in! One unforgettable moment was when we used the new materials to create a two way frequency table and we had to collect data from our student population. The room buzzed with excitement. It was incredible to see their curiosity come alive.\r\nThanks to these resources, we've been able to shift from textbook-based learning to hands-on exploration. Students are now working in small groups to to collaborate and learn through discovery. These materials sparked meaningful discussions about mathematics , and it's helping them connect classroom learning to real-world challenges.\r\nNext, we'll be expanding into statistics.
