It was gratifying to watch them move through the full creative process, experimenting, making mistakes, adjusting their work, and trying again until they reached a result they were proud of.\r\n\r\nStudents used tools and materials they had never worked with before, which helped build confidence and independence. They carefully mixed different scents to create the ideal fragrance for their products, testing combinations and discussing what worked best. They also designed and created their own labels, thinking about presentation, purpose, and how their product would be experienced by others.\r\n\r\nThroughout the process, students learned that creating something takes patience and problem-solving. Each mistake became part of the learning, and each improvement showed growth. By the end of the project, students didn't just understand the steps of making a product, they understood the value of creativity, persistence, and thoughtful design.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting this project and for giving my students the opportunity to learn through hands-on, creative experiences. Your generosity allowed them to explore, create, and take pride in their work.","fullyFundedDate":1762360307666,"projectUrl":"project/chemistry-in-action-future-scientists-a/9866560/","projectTitle":"Chemistry in Action: Future Scientists and Entrepreneurs at Work!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rocha","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10336769"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_134493","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":null,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":83,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":false,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 10","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Weighted Average","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":72.2,"schoolId":134493,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Benjamin Franklin Academy Chartered Public School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Benjamin Franklin Academy Chartered Public School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-hampshire/new-hampshire-department-of-education/benjamin-franklin-academy-chartered-public-school/134493"}
