They've been tracing letters, building CVC words, and practicing number formation with the translucent manipulatives. One of our favorite projects so far was a \"Word Building Glow Station,\" where students used letter tiles on the light box to make words that matched picture cards—it turned phonics practice into something that felt like play!\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nThe moment they saw the light boxes lit up with colorful accessories, their eyes went wide and they gasped. Several students shouted, \"Wow!\" and \"It's glowing!\" They immediately wanted to touch and explore everything. It was pure joy, and you could see how excited they were to start learning with them.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\nNext, we'll be using the light box accessories to practice spelling words, put letters in order, and work on numbers. The students are enjoying reading them in class and checking them out for use at home. Some students listen to the audiobook version on Learning Ally and also look at the pictures in the physical copy. \r\n\r\nSo many of the books we ordered are classic children's literature. Some of them are more modern and experimental, like What is this Tail For? and Gallop! As the students are exposed to good quality literature, their love of reading grows.
