It has been greatly appreciated! My students were so excited to open the boxes as they came in and see what new items we had. They love having their own cushions for when we are sitting on the floor for Morning Meeting, lessons or doing yoga. \r\n\r\nWe had healthy snack options provided by you all for the first few months of school. The students really appreciated enjoying a snack during the school day when they were getting a little extra hungry in between meals. It was especially helpful to have snacks on hand when we finished physical education and their bellies were grumbling.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for adding to our Classroom Store! The students earn BISON Bucks all throughout the week for working hard, being respectful and displaying other expected behaviors. They get to shop every Wednesday and they have loved all the new items our donors have provided!\r\n\r\nThank you for the classroom supplies and magnetic letters. The letters have been a hit during reading groups! The personal mailboxes will be a new fun feature this year we are going to try to use with the students. \r\n\r\nHaving the colorful 3 ring binders add a nice touch of color to the classroom and give the students a chance to pick their own color to use.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your kindness.","fullyFundedDate":1746785513480,"projectUrl":"project/2025-2026-school-year/9275146/","projectTitle":"2025-2026 school year","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kristen kinsey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9777984_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727233157028","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9777984"},{"teacherId":9573352,"projectId":8464017,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for helping with my class. My students now have a space in the classroom to do there work in a very calm environment. They have a place to sit and take a self time out so they can calm down. I work in a special education setting IV so it is very difficult to get my students to write thank you cards and they can not have their pictures taken. \r\n\r\nWe have a program where students are aloud to take a self time and not lose points during the class period. If that does not work then they will have directed time at which time they do lose points. As they earn points that equal 85% or better they will move up on the level system. Once they move up they earn rewards. The snacks that I purchased has helped my students to have a physical reward that they like when they earn their points. \r\n\r\nIt has been very successful. I have students that have moved up through the level system and have really appreciated the snack that they earn. My students are also very disenfranchised so any thing to eat is a plus. The students will sit on the rug and the chairs and rest in a quiet spot so they can gain control of their emotions. Again thanks so much for all you have done to help. The really interesting thing is other students not in my classroom want to come and calm down here as well. You are making an impact on a Childs life more than you can ever know. \r\n\r\nThese students also have been accomplishing more work in the space I have created again that is an extra plus for these kids. I know my students appreciate it even if I can not get them to physically write a thank you card. So I want to thank you again from my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1727376608596,"projectUrl":"project/ride-the-wave/8464017/","projectTitle":"Ride The Wave","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Erickson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9573352"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_55345","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":153,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":58,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":20,"percentWhite":55,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":"5.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":77.6,"schoolId":55345,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about River Trail Learning Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"River Trail Learning Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/anoka-hennepin-ind-sch-dist-11/bell-center/55345"}
