Because of you, my students now have access to meaningful incentives that celebrate their hard work, curiosity, and growth in science. The snacks and rewards are being used as positive reinforcement during labs, collaborative group work, and hands-on STEM challenges, helping students stay focused, motivated, and excited about learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were thrilled. Their faces lit up as they realized their effort and perseverance in class would be recognized in a tangible way. What stood out most was how quickly the rewards became more than just snacks—they became symbols of teamwork, problem-solving, and pride in their accomplishments. Students began encouraging one another, reminding peers to stay on task and participate so everyone could earn rewards together.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current life science lessons, students are applying their knowledge through investigations, discussions, and real-world problem-solving activities. These STEM rewards will continue to support a positive classroom culture where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and think like scientists. Your support has made a lasting impact, and I am incredibly grateful for the role you've played in shaping my students' learning experience.","fullyFundedDate":1762438366933,"projectUrl":"project/stem-rewards-snacks-today-scientists-t/9559206/","projectTitle":"STEM Rewards: Snacks Today, Scientists Tomorrow","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bradford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9742916_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756314950217","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9742916"},{"teacherId":8909368,"projectId":9494324,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support and donation of the cardboard cutter for our classroom. So many students expressed interest that our very first meeting was filled with eager, smiling faces ready to learn and explore. We began with a Nearpod lesson on composition, where students were introduced to foundational photography techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, negative space, and framing.\r\n\r\nAfter our lesson, students had the chance to put their learning into action. They grabbed their cameras and headed out into the school to practice. The joy was unmistakable—students photographed classmates, teachers (caught in the hallways!), nature, and everyday objects through new, creative eyes. They were intentional about applying the techniques they learned, and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow in real time.\r\n\r\nIn our next session, we'll review the photos together and reflect on what they noticed, what worked well, and where they can push their creativity further. Then, we'll move into our next photography skill, lighting, and begin the hands-on learning all over again!\r\n\r\nThank you for helping spark this creativity and curiosity in our students.
