These tablets have opened new pathways for personalized instruction, allowing students from kindergarten through fifth grade to access interactive lessons, adaptive learning apps, and visual supports that meet them exactly where they are. What once required paper-based or one-size-fits-all activities can now be tailored instantly to each learner's goals and pace.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for our students has been the sense of independence and ownership the tablets bring. They light up when they can log in and navigate to their own assignments, games, and stories. For many, using touch-based tools has improved fine motor skills and increased focus, especially for those who struggle with traditional materials. Our nonverbal and emerging readers are thriving with speech-to-text and picture-based communication apps, while others are gaining confidence in reading and math through interactive, gamified practice.\r\n\r\nOne of our younger students, who typically has difficulty staying engaged, now eagerly completes phonics and counting activities on his tablet, celebrating each level he achieves. Another student who once hesitated to write now uses dictation tools to tell her stories out loud, watching her words appear on the screen. These moments of pride and joy are a direct result of your kindness. Thank you for believing in our students and providing them with tools that help unlock their potential every day.","fullyFundedDate":1745507699341,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-special-education-with-techno/9019093/","projectTitle":"Empowering Special Education with Technology: Tablets for Interactive Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Burdick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9883045"},{"teacherId":6846008,"projectId":6251064,"letterContent":"I just want to say thnak you for all the dontaions we recieved.
