There are a lot of students who have to choose a different instrument because they cannot handle the ongoing cost of reeds. Thanks to your donation, I can give them a reed when they need one, and they are very happy that they can keep playing their instrument!! \r\nThe students were very excited to see all the brand new boxes of reeds that arrived!! Many families cannot afford the ongoing cost of good quality reeds, and the students either have to choose a different instrument, use poor quality or broken reeds, or quit band altogether. This impacts not just the clarinet and saxophone players, but the entire class. When the clarinet and sax players are using good quality reeds, the entire band sounds better! \r\nMy students and I are currently working on music for our upcoming concert on November 24. Thanks to your generous donation, all the clarinet and saxophone players will have a good quality reed to use on that day, and our band will be able to sound its best! This cost can deter some students from choosing those instruments. \r\nThanks to your generous donations, I am able to provide clarinet and saxophone reeds for students who need them and would otherwise have to choose a different instrument or not be in band at all. \r\nThank you again for helping to give these students the amazing experience of being part of a school band program.
