My students loved them! Many were impressed and blown away on how Shakespeare's work can be told in such format. This has inspired some to even explore some of Shakespeare's other plays. \r\n\r\n I have attached some photos of students reading along with some work samples. At the end of every book/play we read, a project is assigned. For \"Macbeth,\" a choice board was assigned on how they can capture a visual of the play or a scene. Mindfulness Mondays have had an immediate and measurable impact on my classes. \r\n\r\nOn Mondays, the students use class time to reflect on the ways various events impact them and how they can feel more in control of these situations, whether positive or challenging. Students work on breathing techniques, goal-sharing, and relaxation tools designed to ease their anxiety.\r\n\r\nI have noticed that the students are excited about these days. They are open to sharing and supporting each other.
