I have noticed a huge increase in the use of scientific vocabulary in class! \r\nIn the future, we will be using Indi to learn about constellations in fourth grade, how things move in Kindergarten, the water cycle in third grade, and how energy can cause motion in fourth and fifth grades. Before we went on break, some of my students in a STEM club got to use these tools to build a model of a nest to protect a \"dinosaur egg\" as we learned about these amazing prehistoric creatures. \r\nAs we continue through the year, students will be able to use these tools several times. Coming up, students about going to be building a parachute that can safely deliver a payload without damage. The students will be able to use these tools to safely cut out cardboard pieces for their parachutes. Additionally, Kindergarteners are learning to change matter and will be able to use these tools to cut and change cardboard into a variety of shapes and sizes. We are really looking forward to working with these tools throughout the years.
