Because of your support we were able to receive a variety of products that encourage the growth and development of fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are used in handwriting, cutting, coloring and in personal skills like zipping a zipper or tying one's shoes. My students have benefited from your gift and enjoy our skills development time. Thank you for your generosity.\r\n\r\nYour gift is also impactful as I work in a Title 1 school. Title 1 schools receive funding that allow high-poverty schools to offer various programs, such as academic interventionists, smaller class sizes, additional staff, professional development, and family engagement activities to support at-risk students. And while we receive funding for these areas, funding for actual curricular supports is limited. Your gift and the support of Ripple in providing developmental tools has made a positive impact on my students.","fullyFundedDate":1746787129521,"projectUrl":"project/growing-through-fine-motor-skills/9232334/","projectTitle":"Growing Through Fine Motor Skills","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lenore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9226109_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746016661622","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9226109"},{"teacherId":7241504,"projectId":8570671,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support of our classroom inclusivity project. My students were delighted and overwhelmed when they first saw the packages arriving for our classroom. I explained how we would use each item to make our classroom accessible to all of our students. We have talked all year about how equality is not always equal, and different students have different needs at different times.\r\n\r\nWe used the flexible seat in our calming corner. It allowed the students to sit or recline and added comfort to our calming space. We also enjoyed the decorations and books for our calming area. The clipboards allowed for flexible movement within the classroom, and students could easily partner up and move to a space that was productive for them away from our traditional desk groupings. The magnetic letters were a welcome addition to our small groups, allowing for increased hands on accessibility. \r\n\r\nIt would be impossible to overstate the impact that your generosity has had on our classroom. Playdough is very expensive but I much admired item in my classroom. It is used when students are upset and need to \"squeeze out\" their feelings and emotions.
