My students were so very excited to get these awesome books by Jamie Lee Curtis, to add to our classroom library. These books are superbly written for young children regarding subjects that are developmentally appropriate and important in their young world! My students and I have been enjoying several of the books, ,already, as we sit down for class read-alouds as well as some independent reading and book discoveries during our learning centers. \r\n\r\nIn PreK, we work hard to develop our own independence and to build more confidence in ourselves, so the more that we can read about it and see others using their independence and confidence ( like the characters in Ms. Curtis's books ) the better. We can truly learn to live and believe our PreK class motto...WE ARE SMALL BUT MIGHTY...something that seems so small to others but is a \"big deal\" for our littlest learners and something that we do on a daily basis! These books and their characters have already made us smile, laugh and THINK...enhancing our class motto and helping us learn, even more, that WE ARE SMALL BUT MIGHTY! \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so very much for your support and for your generous donation!
