I wish you could have shared the moment when, at the end of class, I was asked, \"Can we really take them home to practice, just like they are ours?\"\r\n\r\nI explained that they certainly could, but only if they closed their bedroom doors...Then winked and explained they only had to keep doors closed until they could work the squeaks out😉. (We had talked about posture, deliberate breath control and finger position to produce desired note vs. squeak in class that day.)\r\n\r\nWe worked so very hard to prepare for our Christmas concert in which we were a huge hit! Every child proudly played a recorder with confidence and success.
