My students are excited to have the opportunity to use the new microscopes and actually see the things we have been learning about in class. When they first looked through the microscopes, they were amazed to see that there is a whole world that they cannot see with their eyes alone. They immediately started asking questions and wanting to know what else they could look at.\r\n\r\nWe are using the microscopes during our science activities to practice focusing, making observations, preparing slides, and recording what we see. Instead of just reading about cells and microorganisms, my students are getting the chance to actually observe them. Our next step is to continue using the microscopes during our upcoming labs as students explore cells and other microscopic structures. I love seeing my students get excited about science, and your support is helping me give them more opportunities to learn by doing. Because of you, our classroom has been transformed into a more welcoming space for my students. When the decor arrived, the energy in my room was electric! My students love the way it looks, and even teachers stopped by to see how welcoming the room was. \r\n\r\nWith all of the color paper, I am able to send a weekly newsletter home to parents so they know what their child is learning each day. The sticker paper is used for student Math Notebook covers. \r\n \r\nIt is important that students know their community supports them and wants to see them do well.
