Each week, we learned different games that challenged our minds and helped us work together. One of our favorite moments was during our Ticket to Ride time. It was so cool to connect the game to real history!\r\n\r\nWhen we first saw the games—Carcassonne, 5 Crowns, Ticket to Ride, Castle Panic, and Happy Little Accidents—we were amazed. Some of us had never played games like these before, and we couldn't wait to dive in. One student said, \"This looks like a game night AND a brain workout!\"—and they were right!\r\n\r\nEach game helped us grow in different ways:\r\n\r\nCarcassonne taught us planning and spatial thinking.\r\n\r\n5 Crowns helped us recognize patterns and think fast.\r\n\r\nTicket to Ride connected geography with long-term planning.\r\n\r\nCastle Panic showed us how to solve problems together.\r\n\r\nHappy Little Accidents encouraged us to be creative and flexible.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our summer school session was filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful connections. My students were so excited to see our new products and couldn't wait to get there hands on them. We have been using the art supplies on a daily basis since we received them. The round paint dabbers fit perfectly in my students' little hands and are great for practicing their grasps. They have become a permanent addition to my independent art center. The paint sticks have allowed us to paint more often with out all the mess. I'm including a few examples of the letter projects we made using the dabbers and paint sticks. We are collecting each letter project from each student in order to make an alphabet set for each of them to take home and work with their parents to create an ABC book. This book will be something each family can enjoy while practicing the alphabet over the summer. \r\nThe beautiful stamps are something my students look forward to getting printed on their hands as a behavior reinforcement throughout each day.
