With increased class sizes this year, having additional Gatorballs will allow more students to be actively involved at the same time instead of waiting for equipment to become available. We are planning to use them for a variety of throwing, catching, and dodgeball-style games that will keep students moving, engaged, and working together.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest benefits of having additional equipment is the ability to create more game variations and give students more opportunities to practice their skills. Rather than having students spend valuable class time waiting for a ball, we can have more students participating, making decisions, communicating with teammates, and developing their throwing and catching skills. We are especially looking forward to introducing new variations of familiar games so that students can experience the same skills in fun and challenging ways.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to put these Gatorballs into action! Once they arrive, students will help us test out new games and variations while practicing teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and skill development. I am incredibly grateful for this donation because these Gatorballs will help us make the most of our PE class time and ensure that more students are actively participating from start to finish.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting a smaller school district and helping provide our students with the resources they need to be successful, active, and, most importantly, have fun while learning!","fullyFundedDate":1778062024615,"projectUrl":"project/help-our-students-dodge-dip-duck-dive/10144763/","projectTitle":"Help our students Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and Dodge!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Moline","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10461550_orig.jpg?crop=288,288,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773260994377","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10461550"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_37289","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":145,"numTeachers":14,"percentFrplEligible":53,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"10.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":37289,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Augusta High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Augusta High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/augusta-school-district/augusta-high-school/37289"}
