The amount of students I have that come into my classroom without a pencil everyday, shocks me. So the pencils have been a big help! Being able the have more white boards and dry erase markers have been a big help for when we are doing activities within the classroom! The Clorox wipes have really come in handy for when i need to keep the student desk clean through out the day. The iPad has helped with my basketball team being able to record their games so they can look back at the and become better prepared. The games have helped my students during our advisory period when we have our days for brain breaks! So me, my class, and basketball team have really appreciated having these items added to our space! Students had learned that a similar technique was used to genetically engineer mosquitoes, but the experiments were performed using living cells. High school students were able to genetically engineer a protein to allow it to glow, without exposing them to living cells; this was a truly remarkable experience for my student.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous support of my project through Donors Choose.
