I enjoyed an awesome and impactful school year with my students and their families. The color printer, picture frames, and artificial plants allowed me to add a personal touch to the classroom. I was able to print and display photos of students doing activities around the school and in our room. The students enjoyed seeing fun photos of themselves. I was also able to print our class charter, make posters, and to send home reports in color. \r\n\r\nMy classroom theme was the jungle. The room decoration from bulletin boarders to light covers included plants and the forests. The artificial plants from your donation added a nice low maintenance touch that blended well with the room. We just finished our 1st semester here at EPACS and our Peaceful Places project has been an amazing asset for our students this year. I am so excited to share updates from this semester!\r\n\r\nTo begin, our students were ecstatic with our seating area and they have expressed how the space allows them to feel supported, no matter the context of their visit. Students have enjoyed access to their fidgets and tools, especially ones where we can facilitate a conversation from. \r\n\r\nOne of the biggest accomplishments for us here is the future of this space. Over the course of the semester, the room has begun to fill itself with the necessities of our community. Students have brought in snacks, community members have provided us with activities, and students across our wide ages have been able to utilise the space. I am excited to see this space transform into a hub for our students to congregate in. \r\n\r\nThank you for your donations!
