The floor pillows turned our reading corner into a cozy, flexible seating area right away. Students can now read books and have small group talks without any problems. The kids were so excited when I showed them The Land of Stories set that they wanted to know who would get to read it first. We started using the series during solo reading time, and it has led to deep conversations about theme, character growth, and using your imagination. Students are excited to use the new felt-tip pens for final drafts and artistic projects, which has made writing workshop more fun.\r\n\r\nThe organizing supplies have made a big difference in how we do things every day. The desk organizers and tiered paper trays have helped keep student work, packets, and other materials in order, which makes switching between classes easier. The rotating organizer and pen drawers have made it possible for students to share supplies without making the room too crowded. This has taught them to be responsible for and take care of school materials. Even the lumbar support pillows are being used every day to help me stay comfortable and maintain good posture during long planning and marking sessions. This directly helps me serve your children well every day.\r\n\r\nWhen the items showed up, everyone in the room was truly thankful and excited. My students know that generous people picked to invest in them because they are nice. We talked about how kindness brings people together. Next, we'll use our new books and flexible seats in literature circles, where students will work together in small groups to talk about character choices and themes. It is an important time where books are chosen and reading is done in a quiet environment. This time allows the students to enjoy the beauty and joy of our classroom library books. \r\n\r\nThe series of books donated for our classroom are loved and appreciated by our students. They look forward to the book they have chosen, reading it and being able to read more in the series.
