By donating to our project we were able to purchase new literacy games and decodable books. It was a great resource at the end of the year last year to keep students engaged, and it has been a great addition for starting our year with fun games this year! \r\n When we first started using the materials my students were thrilled with the hands-on games. They love matching words that rhyme to build a tree, and find compound words that when put together create a picture of the new word. This activity provided a visual for my ESL students and allowed them to hear and see how words come together to make something new! We have loved these first 2 sets so much that I hope to add the 3rd set later this year for my more advanced students.\r\n Thank you again for giving my students the opportunity to practice their skills with new reading games and books!
