Ours is an alternative education high school classroom. The students have me for homeroom and they travel to each of their core classes together, so it is imperative that we build a supportive and unifying classroom culture. \r\n\r\nYour gift helped bring my students together and take ownership of our shared space and identity as \"Monarchs.\" I heard from several students...almost especially the boys!!.. that they really enjoyed doing the project. It was a chance for them to work on something non-academic and meditative. The boys did meticulous work in their coloring and cutting and I was so pleased with their attention to detail. \r\n\r\nIt is very gratifying to see their artwork around our classroom.
