That is why I wanted to create this project, so my students could engage with my lessons. \r\n\r\nAsking donors to provide funds for whiteboard markers, erasers, lined paper, glue sticks, and more was one way for me to give back to my students. \r\n\r\nReceiving these purchases has helped my students participate in ways that are less stressful and more engaging than ever. They all have markers and erasers when I ask them to write answers on a whiteboard. They have access to lined paper and glue sticks when needed. Additionally, my students love smelling the hearts and stars I place on their papers with the smelly markers that smell so yummy! Gratefully, I was able to request DonorsChoose this year, and boy, did you step up! \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when we received these packages that every time we got one, they wanted me to open it immediately to see what we had received. Things like squishy toys, spinning toys, and calming strips were enthusiastically welcomed by all of my classes. Thank you for helping my students have some excitement throughout their day.
