Because of your kindness, my 9th-grade biology students will now have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of genetics through hands-on gel electrophoresis labs.\r\n\r\nThe power source you helped fund is a critical part of our gel electrophoresis setup. It allows students to apply an electric current to a gel, which separates DNA fragments by size. This process helps them see DNA in action, rather than just reading about it in a textbook. For many students, this visual and tactile experience makes complex concepts like molecular biology and genetic analysis much easier to understand.\r\n\r\nWhat's most exciting to my students is the chance to use the same equipment that real scientists use. They love loading DNA samples into the gel, watching the bands form, and interpreting the results. It feels like they're doing \"real science,\" and that sense of authenticity boosts their confidence and curiosity.\r\n\r\nThis technology has made our biology lessons more interactive and memorable.
