We use laptops every day at the end of our lessons for the demonstration of learning. They also use laptops to practice math on an app called Zearn. Every student has an individualize pathway, so headphones is not only needed as a designated support, but also for them to use the laptop without interfering with their peers.\r\nThe colorful index cards it was to make writing more fun and keep them engage. This project gave my students new prizes and snacks to reward them for their hard work in math. \r\nMy 4th grade bilingual students use Zearn, a math application that supports their math learning. Their weekly goal is to complete 3 or more lessons. I reward them weekly for achieving this goal. The consistent use of Zearn helped them to grow a lot on the NWEA MAP Math Middle of the Year assessment that they took on January.\r\nMy students were so happy and grateful with the new snacks and prizes. They continue using Zearn with fidelity. 60% of them already completed the Zearn annual goal of 90+ lessons and 75% is already on target to complete this annual goal. The ones who completed their goal are helping their peers to make sure all of them achieve their goals.
