Although my district offers an internet math program, it is primarily used to assess and track student data. Last year, I was able to use a free 30 day trial online math program. The students loved the program very much. They liked being able to go back and work on skills they did not master in previous grades. My advanced students enjoyed the challenge of moving ahead to more rigorous topics. It broke my heart when students requested to use the program after the free 30-day trial period ended. Therefore, I purchased five subscriptions and rotated that among my students. We made it work, but it would be fabulous if each child had his or her own subscription and login. It will be awesome to tell my incoming students they have technology which will help remediate and elevate their math skills. We will use Starrmatica during small group workstations, when students are finished with assignments and during tutorials. Thank you in advance for making this a reality!
