The listening center allows us to pair a iPad and scan QR codes to link video read aloud so students can be exposed to rich vocabulary, proper pronunciation, and expressive reading models.\r\nMy students love listening to stories in the listening center. The headphones allow them to get enveloped in the stories and discover new worlds. Abby can't wait to listen to new stories. They are engaged in the science learning centers which are hands on exploration that develop cognitive and critical thinking. Luiz enjoyed learning about lifecycle of butterflies and frogs. He would use the puppets, in our theatre center to act out the lifecycle of a butterfly for classmates. \r\nThe sensory tubes are great co-regulation tools, introducing basic science skills density, gravity, buoyancy, and magnetism. It aides in language development building a vocabulary of descriptive words. The sensory tubes helped Dania co-regulate when she experienced separation anxiety at drop off. They write in a bold format which makes it easier for students to see, so they can then transfer to their own papers.\r\nFinally, the surplus of pencils will be perfect to survive this school year.
