We are already utilizing some of the materials that have arrived such as the heavy duty supply cups for our crayons, scissors, and glue during our center rotations/ groups! The old ones we used to have were falling apart and these new cups really help hold our materials together and don't break when dropped. We have also been using the EXPO dry erase markers and erasers when students practice writing their names. We go through many markers as we practice multiple times a week. We are also very thankful for the disinfecting wipes!! We've already gone through 2 boxes as we wipe down tables and chairs during this winter season to prevent students (and teachers) from catching any germs.\r\n\r\nWhen we first got the first batch of boxes, many of our students were curious as to what was inside. They were surprised to see the supply cups as they knew my old ones were breaking and falling apart. They loved the new emotions coin drop social emotional toy! They were all crowded and wanting a turn to figure out how to play with it. \r\n\r\nSome materials are not used or in place yet as I am preparing projects for us to later laminate with the thermal laminator. I'm hoping to use these when Valentine's Day is around the corner and Mother's Day to make cards with lasting images. This is where the laminating pouches will come into place to preserve the work our students create to take home. \r\n\r\nAgain, we greatly appreciate all the materials we've received and look forward to using them!","fullyFundedDate":1762476119771,"projectUrl":"project/keeping-our-classroom-filled-with-childr/9569019/","projectTitle":"Keeping Our Classroom Filled With Children and Love","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Moy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10166081_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754778654735","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10166081"},{"teacherId":7590494,"projectId":8515551,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kindness! Your donations to our classroom have had a great impact for my students. School has become more fun and exciting for my little TKs.\r\n\r\nMy students were very excited to see our brand new Smiley area rug. They love using it at our reading area to read and play with the Number Blocks puzzle. The Alphabet and Number stamps were also a hit. They can't wait to use them during centers. They love stamping out their names, sight words, and numbers they are learning. \r\n\r\nThe chairback pockets are helping them keep their journals, tracing work, and coloring pages neatly organized.
