We blew up the chairs and strung the lights and decals together to make the space feel even more like a collaborative area. We have used the space many times for our bell ringers when the material for the day allows for more intimate and relaxed settings. \r\n\r\nFurther, the students often use it as a space to decompress when they are frustrated, sleepy, or otherwise in need of a moment to simply chill / relax. Many will even come in during their lunch time to take a quick nap on the carpet and make good use of the blankets and pillows. \r\n\r\nOverall, the space has been of huge benefit to our class and even outside of class. It is a space they know they can use when they just need a moment and it's hard to put a price or description on that. I can't thank you enough for this donation. It has really had an impact on the overall vibe of the space where social work sessions are held. I was able to beautify the space with plants, calming fidgets, and positive messages. Students have so happy to have art material for art therapy and games to play to enhance their social and emotional skills. \r\n\r\nI've also got the chance to share the resources provided with the Gender and Sexuality Ally group of the school.
