I absolutely love my preschoolers with special needs, and I am deeply committed to helping them succeed. These children have diverse and unique learning styles, and thanks to your support, I'm able to give them more opportunities to thrive.\r\n\r\nThe math learning aids and manipulatives provided through your generosity have become essential tools in our classroom. They allow my students to engage with math in a hands-on, interactive way, turning abstract concepts into tangible experiences. Whether it's using counting bears, number lines, or shape puzzles, these materials help my students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and deepen their understanding of foundational math concepts.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these tools make learning fun and accessible, giving my students the support they need to succeed and grow at their own pace. Your donation has truly empowered their learning journey, and I am so grateful for the positive impact you've made in their lives. The students were excited to open the boxes and immediately took charge of organizing the materials. The clear containers are very useful because we can see what's inside. They worked together to decide what went into each container and created a system to take turns using the new sewing machines. \r\n\r\nThe students loved the new sewing machines with top-loading bobbins and automatic threaders. They also appreciated all the sewing tools, and the most popular tool was a seam ripper because it helped them fix their mistakes quickly. Beyond the technical skills, this project nurtured empathy, patience, and a strong sense of purpose. The students were proud to be making something that would directly benefit others, especially animals.\r\n\r\nWe had our last \"Sew Fun\" session today. With the new sewing machines and supplies, we were able to work more efficiently as we continued to create bandanas and \"curtainments\" for animals at the Hawaiian Humane Society. Bandanas help dogs get adopted faster and curtainments help reduce anxiety in shelter cats by giving them privacy.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the machines and supplies you helped provide will continue to serve future groups of students, empowering them to learn practical skills while making a difference in our community.
