The students have been excited to use it for a variety of different assignments in class. For one, the children had to write a fictional story for Language Arts. They used AI with Google Gemini to bring their stories to life. They were able to view their stories on the iPad for review. The students also had the option to draw certain pictures for their story, so using the Apple Pencil along with the iPad was beneficial when using the Autodraw app. Finally, for certain struggling students, they could go on the iPad and do some tailored lessons on iReady.\r\nThe students are most excited to have some one on one time with the iPad, whether it be finishing up a project or doing some review lessons.\r\nAll students warmed up to the device, for it is something very familiar to them, as most have a tablet device at home. The kinesthetic learners probably benefitted most from using the iPad.","fullyFundedDate":1771719278994,"projectUrl":"project/teaching-with-technology/10109277/","projectTitle":"Teaching with Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8826753"},{"teacherId":10294710,"projectId":10109301,"letterContent":"On behalf of my speech therapy students and myself, I'd like to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for your generous donations. As an SLP, I try to keep therapy sessions motivating and fun and at the same time, facilitate progress in their individual communication objectives. The addition of books, therapy material and games have had a positive impact, as every student has definitely noticed new material :) Each student has enjoyed the books so much!\r\n\r\nI had two students in particular in mind when requesting the standup desk. The two boys in the 2nd grade have a tremendous amount of energy, even at the end of the day! The standup desk has helped a great deal and has curbed their high energy so they can focus on the tasks presented to them. \r\n\r\nIt was my first time participating in Donor's Choose and I am in awe of the generosity in the community for those of us in education. Please know that your contributions has had a positive impact for all of us.
