We received the materials and quickly incorporated them into the teaching and learning of our school. All the students instantly noticed the book new bins, Arabic books, and the maps in the classroom, followed by questions of who gave them to us, where they came from, and how they would be used. It's been a great pleasure sharing the mission of Donors Choose and the amazing donors who made this happen for our students. \r\n\r\nOur Arabic teacher has been using their enhanced classroom library with the new books and binds to immerse students in the letters, numbers, colors, and culture of the Arab world. We also have new books that focus on increasing students' literacy skills in both English and Arabic. The new maps have been referenced hundreds of time to show where people in the Arab world live, the distance from the U.S., and how regardless of where we live, we're all connected by our traditions, values, and rituals. \r\n\r\nThank you for your kindness and support of our students, our school, and our language programming. Our kindergarteners were absolutely delighted to observe them up close and learn about their life cycle. Your kindness brought science to life in a way that no book ever could.\r\n\r\nThe students especially loved watching the caterpillars grow and change each day. They carefully tracked their growth, made observations, and asked thoughtful questions as they witnessed each stage of development. This hands-on experience sparked curiosity, excitement, and meaningful learning in our classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of the most magical moments was releasing the butterflies into our garden. The joy and wonder on the children's faces as they watched the butterflies take flight was unforgettable.
