We appreciate your support more than you know. The students were so excited to help create and wear their T-shirts! It has made us feel like a proud community to wear our shirts as a team.\r\n\r\nWhen I first told the class about the project, we voted on a class design. The students agreed on one design and I showed them how the process of using a Cricut cutting machine works. They were amazed and loved to help by pushing the buttons and watching it cut. The students helped throughout the steps of choosing the colors, using the machine and tools, and peeling the vinyl. I completed the ironing part myself due to safety, but I showed them how it worked. We all wore our shirts on the same day to celebrate. The students were thrilled to be able to keep the shirts forever! I look forward to being able to wear them as a community throughout the school year. \r\n\r\nThe Cricut machine and materials will be useful for many other projects throughout the year and in coming years as well. I foresee using it for bulletin boards, art projects, and anything else that involves a lot of cutting.
