What might seem like a simple appliance to some felt like a life-changing gift to them. Many of our young people face challenges most of us can't imagine—housing instability, family transitions, and the daily worry of having clean clothes. When they saw the machines set up for the first time, their faces filled with relief and joy. One student quietly said, \"Now I don't have to miss school because I'm embarrassed.\" That moment said it all.\r\n\r\nSince then, these resources have already begun transforming our school community. Students are using the laundry space with pride, supporting one another, and even reminding each other that \"we take care of what takes care of us.\" The sense of dignity and confidence this project has brought into our building is something you can feel in the air. Our students walk a little taller, smile a little more, and come to class ready to focus on learning—not worry.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our students know they are seen, valued, and supported. You've done more than provide clean clothes—you've given them a reason to believe in themselves and in the compassion of others. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us create a space where our students can thrive, feel proud, and continue to chase their dreams.","fullyFundedDate":1746732813808,"projectUrl":"project/achieving-education-dedication-one-clea/9064455/","projectTitle":"Achieving Education Dedication, One Clean Garment at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9897082"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32203","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":190,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":14,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"11 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":69.0,"schoolId":32203,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pathways to Graduation on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pathways to Graduation","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/access-school/32203"}
