From the fidget tools that help students focus during sessions, to games and visuals that guide our conversations, these items have become an essential part of building trust and engagement. One of the most powerful moments so far has been using the conversation blocks and Connect 4 during a small group session—students were able to interact with each other meaningfully and pen up in ways they hadn't before. This activity not only encouraged honest sharing but also helped students connect with one another.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. Many were immediately drawn to the colorful visuals and interactive tools, and I heard several say things like, \"This feels like our own space now.\" That initial joy has carried over into our sessions, where students are more eager to participate and explore strategies for managing emotions, building relationships, and handling challenges. It has truly changed the tone of our time together and made the counseling room a place they look forward to visiting.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students are beginning a series of lessons on positive relationships and conflict resolution. The new resources will continue to support these lessons, whether through role-play activities, group discussions, or reflection journals. The materials are not just supplies—they are tools that empower students to grow socially and emotionally.
