When our students first saw the Tonieboxes and characters, their faces lit up with excitement. Many of them could hardly wait for their turn to explore the different stories, and it has been such a joy to watch them settle in with headphones and become completely captivated by their new listening adventures.\r\n\r\nThe Tonieboxes have already become a favorite choice during library visits. Students love being able to choose their own characters and listen to familiar voices and stories in a way that feels both fun and personal. It has created a wonderful bridge for our youngest learners—helping them fall in love with storytelling, which we know will lead to a love of reading.\r\n\r\nOur next steps for this project are to continue growing our collection of Tonie characters so that students have an even wider variety of stories to enjoy. We are also excited to explore the Creative-Tonies, which will allow us to record our own stories and give students the chance to hear familiar voices—teachers, classmates, or even themselves—telling stories they love.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given our library a resource that sparks joy, curiosity, and a deeper connection to books.
