Starting fresh at a new school, I've been working hard to create a classroom where every student feels equipped to learn and thrive.\r\n\r\nSince the supplies arrived in the very first week of school, we've been weaving these supports into daily music learning. Students now know they can choose the tools they need, which has made supporting diverse learners easier and our class time more productive. These sensory items are not only helping with focus, but also fostering a culture of inclusion, self-awareness, confidence, and independence.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue exploring how sensory strategies can support students both inside and outside the music room.
