It's even more hard to get my special needs student passionate because reading can be hard for them. It's hard to enjoy something when you have to work hard just to do the basics.\r\n\r\nThe manga is a lifesaver! They love manga naturally, so when I give them independent reading time, there are no complaints, no heads down: they just pick *their* book, and happily settle into reading.
