Those moments remind me that reading becomes most meaningful when students have ownership over what they choose to read.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of teaching English is watching students realize they are capable of finishing books they once thought were beyond them. Every novel added to our classroom library creates another opportunity for that growth.
