Imagine a room full of creative, curious, and compassionate students eager to learn. These are our students, and they are constantly reminding us how interesting and amazing life is. The majority of our NYC public school students live below the poverty level and receive free meals at school. Our 5th grade class includes a diverse group of motivated students, including some with autism that thrive in a structured, organized environment where student responsibility and independence is emphasized. Many of our students struggle with organization and misplace work and lose papers multiple times a day. Instead of looking for missing papers or having to redo their work, a student's time could be much better spent learning with the rest of the class.
