This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our unit on Human Impacts, my students learn about the ways that the actions of humans can have negative impacts on the marine environment and the organisms that live there. We study the food webs of the ocean, but the most critical organisms in these webs are zooplankton.
I would like to have zooplankton slides for my students to look at with their microscopes so that they can understand what zooplankton are, how tiny they are, and how they can be a critical food source for so many other organisms.
