This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting 2 Sphero Indi robots to add to our classroom computer science tools. Even though these Sphero's would be utilized by all grade levels, I feel these would be a great introduction to computer science and robotic with a more kid-friendly robot.
Sphero's Indi would be a great tool to spark imagination and promote problem-solving.
Students could solve tasks, or create their own tasks or mazes. Students could work individually, collaboratively, or a little bit of friendly competition. These robots will helps students learn the basics of robotics, coding, problem-solving, perseverence, flexibility, among other Executive Funtioning skills.
