My students need physical education equipment to get moving, this is why I am requesting a pack of balls with soccer, basketball, footballs and other fun equipment such as frisbees. I am also requesting Hula hoops.

My Students
I am a teacher of students from varying socioeconomic statuses. Most of my students come from different backgrounds; I have had students from one-parent families to students being raised by grandparents. With diversity comes the challenge of making your classroom feel safe, organized, and an oasis away from home.
My students are very creative, intelligent, and full of energy!
I try to focus on their potential and that every student can learn. No matter what happens at home, when you walk into my classroom you are a valued, loved and an important part of our class. I do my best to help every student grow and learn to their potential during the school year. In my class we are global learners who try to bring our backgrounds and culture into our classroom as part of a valued and treasured member of our community.
My Project
I am requesting physical education equipment to help my students get moving and to help with creating sportsmanship among all students. The ball and equipment set and hula hoops will allow my students to play games together outside and to learn to work as a group.
Play is a way students can learn to be social beings who problem solve.
This is an important skill in our ever changing society. Students need to be able to solve any type of problem that is put in front of them. The ability to problem solve shows up in all situations across all curricula.
