Zoom In on Science: Hovercams for Observing Life

My Project

What I love most about my students is their curiosity and eagerness to engage with the world around them, especially when they can see science in action. They come alive during labs and hands-on activities, asking thoughtful questions and seeking to understand not just what happens in the body, but why. Many of my students are visual and auditory learners who benefit greatly from seeing real-time demonstrations and hearing explanations they can revisit as needed.

The Hovercams I am requesting will allow my students to capture dissections, microscope work, and other lab activities in high definition with their own accompanying audio explanations.

This will make it possible for students to review material at their own pace, access content when absent, and reflect on the details that are often missed in fast-paced lab settings. These tools will also support differentiated instruction, allow me to model assignments more clearly, and enable students to document and share their own work with greater clarity. With these resources, my students will not just do science; they’ll be able to see and revisit the learning process, deepening their understanding and ownership of the material.
