Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kids and I left school Mid March on a Friday not knowing if we were coming back. We were all nervous because we did not know what was going to happen. I assured my kids that this was probably a precaution!
My students were given laptops by the district just in case we needed to stay at home.
The issued laptop computers, as well as, a folder of worksheets to complete their work and prepare them for the upcoming statewide tests.
My Project
History in the making and living in uncertain times have resulted in transitioning to home-based learning. The class setting is not ideal, but we are all doing our very best. We are learning and trying to enhance distance learning through Zoom, as well as, staying connected!
As a teacher, I began transforming my classroom and this too happens in my home, an appealing classroom environment.
Realizing that I did not have a printer/scanner or document camera has made teaching and learning difficult, and critical. I have not been able to teach as well as I know I can.
Our project can make the difference to deliver instruction and properly communicate and teach my kiddos as we engage in distance learning.
