it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The new school year is already one quarter finished and I just want to make sure that our sixth grade students don't need to worry about keeping organized during our science and STEM classes. Organization is the key to success in any facet of life. They will not be allowed to bring backpacks to school and no one will have a locker, but they still need to keep everything for science and STEM classes safe. Even having a regular binder, their papers still seem to get lost.
Zipper binders are a great tool to help students get organized and keep them from losing their school supplies and important papers.
Many of my students can't afford to purchase these types of binders and so this project will allow me to help some of my more disorganized students become more successful in school. Ultimately, I would like to be able to give each student on my team that wants one a zipper binder.
