This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting are so that I can create a "Zen Zone" in my office. It will carve out a space in my office that will have various calming tools, signs and comfortable seating for students who need a safe space they can sit alone and find some Zen time.

The Zen zone is to provide students I work with an area that they can embrace inner peace and take some calming breaths in this quiet area with the goal of them being able to work on self-regulating skills before returning to class.
