My Project

Hello, amazing donors! We are going to be creating a safe space in every classroom for students to cool down and refocus. Each teacher is creating their own space, with posters, comfy seating, journaling, and ways to reset.

Sometimes students just need to stop and process their feelings.

This zen zone gives them a chance to do that in the classroom, in a safe place, so that they don't miss too much class time. Our goal is to meet students' needs, without removing them from the learning environment. Thank you for helping me to create this safe space in my classroom!
