First graders love learning and attending school! My classroom is a safe and supportive space created to inspire every student to learn and strengthen a love for learning. We have many different learning styles and economic backgrounds that welcome diversity and a community of learners.
This project will help create a calming safe space within the classroom.
Materials for this project were selected to specifically help with student stress, anxiety, sensory overload, special needs, anger, sadness, and all the emotions that may cause overwhelming moments during the school day.
As an educator, my job is not only to provide rich academic learning experiences, but to create a supportive learning environment that welcomes and embraces all learners and their social and emotional well-being.
