My Students

My students attend Pre-k at an urban school in a high poverty area. They have a thirst for knowledge and as a teacher I want to cultivate a love of learning and set a good foundation for academics and social well being.

My students love to explore how things work and are driven by curiosity.

They especially love being active and playing together as a group. Projects funded through DonorsChoose are the reason why my students have excelled and developed a love of learning.

Above all, my students are smart, funny, caring 4 and 5 years olds who hold immense potential. Let's cultivate it together!

My Project

I choose cost effective snack items that our students can enjoy for daily snack. The Goldfish, Crackers, Animal Crackers and Pop-tarts will be used to provide students with a snack during the afternoon.

Students are not able to learn until their basic needs are met, and that includes hunger.

Join me in ensuring that our students have their physical needs met so they can reach their full potential.

My students are inquisitive and curious and are beginning to make sense of the world in which they live in. Providing a daily snack will ensure we are at our best!
