This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my students' curiosity and resilience. They attend a Title I-funded school, where resources can be limited, but their enthusiasm for learning never wavers.

They are always so grateful for even the smallest treats or classroom resources, and it’s heartwarming to see their excitement when they receive something new.

The items I’m requesting will make a big difference in our classroom. The printer will allow us to create vibrant, colorful handouts that catch their attention and make lessons more engaging. We can use it to print visual aids, interactive activities, and even celebratory certificates to motivate them. The pens will help students practice their writing skills, allowing them to express their creativity and improve their handwriting. The small cups will be used with our cereal dispenser to provide a quick, organized snack that fuels their learning during the day.

My goal for this project is to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where my students feel valued and inspired to grow. These resources will not only enhance their educational experience but also show them that they are deserving of quality tools to succeed.

What makes my students special is their unwavering determination and gratitude. Despite the challenges they face, they show up eager to learn and grow every day. They remind me why I became a teacher, and I want to give them the tools and opportunities they deserve to thrive.
